Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I went in for a routine oil change and it was time to rotate my tires. i asked them to rotate and they notified me i had a broken rear left coil spring and that they recommend change both coil springs and struts for a cost of $830 cdn parts, labor. i was surprised having owned a handful of vehicles never once had a coil spring break. the puzzling part is i rarely carry any passengers in the rear. for now i guess i am fortunate to catch it before it blows a tire while on the highway like indicated by others. i need to address this soon. i was looking for ford to cover the cost of this premature part failure. *tr |
