Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When my leased 06' g35 coupe hit around 6,000 miles it started making a rattling sound from under the hood. when i brought the car to the dealership to be checked on they advised me that my engine was consuming too much oil & that the engine would have to be replaced. they replaced the engine but than at around 7,000 miles the same noise came back. i have been to the dealership 4 times in the last 3 months and everytime i go back the car is 2-3 qrts oil low. the problem is that the engine that they replaced my old engine with has the same issue & it will continue to happen unless i am given a new manufactured engine - which seems to be unavailable. this is a major safety concern for my family & i want them to take back the vehicle or provide me with a new engine. i have complained to infiniti consumer affairs who are aware of the situation but i feel i am getting nowhere. ininiti consumer affairs states that the case is being researched. this is unacceptable for a leased vehicle & it needs to be addressed. *tr |
