Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl 2001 grand am. went on a website other than nhtsa. she was told by the dealer that they will check it to see what they can find. the vehicle is at the repair shop and they advised her that they are unable to diagnose it. the vehicle started on its own. she is the second owner, 89,000. she owned it almost 2 weeks. while driving, the vehicle shut off, no warning, no warning lights on the dash. she was able to coast the vehicle to the side of the road. she sat for 5 minutes and was able to start it. 24 hours later, she drove it , no problem. she attempted to start the vehicle and was unable to do so. 2 hours later it would not start and the tow company check to see if it was the battery or alternator. the vehicle was towed to her home 24 hours later, it didn't start. the mechanic attempted to restart it and it did start 48 hours later. the diagnostic computer also didnt determine the failure. rk |
