Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I can add another transmission failure from a honda accord 1999. this car has the same transmission as the recalled transmissions on honda accord from 2000 to 2002. my transmission seal leaked at 110,000 miles. i had the transmission rebuilt at 149,000 miles for $2100. of course, the reason i bought a honda was better engineering. i am beginning to think that i have a false perception of the honda quality. this was my first honda and i don't think at this time that my next car will be a honda automatically. i have gotten unsold on them. based on all of the other letters i saw on this same problem, and the fact these cars had lower mileage, i don't think i have a prayer on honda kicking in something for the repair. next time i buy a car i am starting with these letters on cars at this website first!!!! cars are quite expensive to have to settle for problems! *tr |
