Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge magnum. while driving 40 mph, the vehicle began misfiring just days after it was repaired. when the contact attempts to accelerate, the vehicle hesitates and the engine shuts off. the mechanic stated that the power is unevenly distributed in the engine, which caused the engine coils to burn. the dealer replaced the burned engine coils at the cost of $400, however, they were unable to diagnose the loss of fire. the dealer also performed a diagnostic on the vehicle, but less than a week later, the failure recurred. the vehicle stalled on four occasions and is currently unable to be driven. the engine indicator light illuminated. the dodge manufacturer stated that there were no recalls and were unable to provide assistance. the vehicle was repaired on august 27, 2007 and the failure recurred on august 28, 2007. the contact is aware of the safety risk involved. the powertrain was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 48,000.
