Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2006 jeep commander stalls at highway speeds and has to be restarted in motion. it also stalls in the middle of intersections and while sitting at a stop light. i have been stranded in the middle of an intersection at least 4 times and it has happened at 70mph at least twice. i am afraid to drive this vehicle. the dealer has done all they can to try to fix it but can never recreate the problem. it stopped for about 6-8 months but yesterday they had to replace my battery and it started all over again. it has done it 3 time in the last 24hrs with my childern in the car. i have seen numerous posts regarding the same problem and can't believe a recall has not been issued. i guess someone has to be injured or worse. *tr |
