Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have taken my 2006 dodge pickup 4 times to the dealer i bought it new from with the check engine light coming on and saying on the led readout to check gas cap. i can smell gas very strongly when i exit the vehicle. i have earnestly tried to get the dealer to fix this problem but to no avail. i have talked with the general manager at the dealer about this too. his response was i'll talked to the service manager on tuesday after labor day weekend. and call when they decide what to do...a week later and still no call to me. i feel they are not upholding my warranty and ignoring a very serious problem that can be combustible just by someone walking by smoking . the fumes from the gas is very strong ...but don't see any leaks. an innocent life or lives could be lost due to this. *jb |
