| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Driving on interstate 75 southbound toward tampa. left rear drivers side tire tread came off, knocking the rear fender underneath the vehicle and ripping off the metal mudguard that was attached to the running board. the metal mudguard was thrown against the vehicle by the tread from the tire failure. i do not yet have an estimate of the damage. i purchased the tire at goodyear and was told that they do not make this model of tire anymore. it was a dunlop p245/60r15 tire. i have two other tires that are the same model number (i replaced the failed one and one on the same side so i would have two to match) and now i am afraid to drive far from home. *tr |
