Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The brakes on my 2003 toyota sequoia are obviously undersized for the vehicle weight. although factory equipped for towing, this is exasperated when pulling a trailer. there is no way i can stop if following at the recommended interval and the person in front of me stops hard. i have had to veer onto the shoulder numerous times to avoid a rear-end collision, and i maintain a greater distance than is suggested between my vehicle and the vehicle in front of me. i feel this should be a safety recall. toyota has admitted a design flaw by issuing a technical service bulletin on how to install larger brakes on this vehicle. *tr |
