| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 1995 lincoln town car. while driving 30 mph, the contact heard a loud snap coming from the vehicle. the contact lost control of the vehicle, but was able to stop with the brakes. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and they stated that the front passenger lower control arm snapped. the manufacturer stated that the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign id number 98v322000 (suspension:front:control arm:lower ball joint), however, the recall expired. the failure mileage was 78,000 and current mileage was 84,600. |
