Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: In february 2007, i took my car into homan auto to get the spo dash kit replaced. in august 2007, i finally realized the converter switch for the vents on the drivers side was not converting as i had suspected since february. jeff homan refused to repair my car unless i was going to voluntarily agree to spend at least $100 for a manual diagnosis. although teri, the rep that set up the appointment told me it was most likely a bad switch which is intergrated and requires the whole computer panel to be replaced because they have gotten a lot of cars in lately with the same exact problem and that is what was the most likely cause. so, then because teri had already diagnosed my car why then should i pay for a diagnosis? i should have been given a free written estimate and considering the severity of safety as an issue never have been denied service. *tr |
