Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2005 honda odyssey. while driving 5 mph in the rain, another vehicle splashed a large amount of water underneath the contact's vehicle. he heard a loud thumping sound and 30 seconds later the battery indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. all of the warning lights then simultaneously illuminated and the vehicle completely shut off. the vehicle was towed and the mechanic stated that the harmonic balancer fell from the engine. the current and failure mileages were 37,000. updated 01-14-08. *kb the consumer stated the harmonic balancer came apart dislodging the bottom pulley shaft which threw off the serpentine belt. updated 12/12/07. *jb
