| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Passenger restraint system failed to allow the belt to be pulled from the retractor far enough for the clip to secure in the latch. intermittent problem began with the front passenger restraint after 1 month of use, 'locking up' at a different length with each attempt. attempts are always made with the car at a complete stop. problem has increased in frequency and severity over time. after 2 months of use the problem is constant, often taking over 15 attempts to extend the belt fully. on one occasion, the belt wasn't allowed to extend from the retractor any distance at all. driver and rear passenger retractors have begun to show same problems. |
