| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: After starting the car the engine, it began to make a "rattle" noise that went away after a few seconds. took it into a shop and they said nothing was wrong. 9 months later, the car would not start -> the dealership said the engine would need to be replaced (the car has ~72,000 miles). i now need to either buy a new engine, or sell it for parts (the cost of the repair will nearly equal the value of the vehicle. i would not have expected to replace a 2000 dodge intrepid engine so early. from what i can tell, many other people have had the same problem with this chrysler engine: what are my options? *tr |
