Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The van was struck in the back by a large (semi) truck. the van rebounded forward from being hit by the truck. at this time the front seats in the van collapsed to the full back position 180 degrees. this had us lying flat, below the level of the windows. as the van came to a stop the truck came up along side the van and stopped with the front right wheel being lodged in the sliding door on the left side of the van. the van was half way in the third lane of traffic and half way on the shoulder. the truck was tight against the center concrete median on the shoulder and tight into the side of the van. the flattening out of the front seats prevented us from controlling the direction of the van and would have been a living hell for anybody sitting in the back seats. this could have made this a much worse accident. is this an expected result when an odyssey is hit from behind? |
