Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving (on 6 different occasions) the vehicle seat belt would come out of the seat belt guide on the booster seat. the first time i thought it was the way i placed the belt so every time after that i would double check that the belt was not twisted and was pulled snuggly against my daughter's body. well, each time i found after a little fidgeting (like pre-schoolers do) the belt would come out of the guide and either end up across her neck or mouth. i would pull over and fix it, and it would happen again. i called the carseat/booster seat manufacturer and they suggested sliding the seat over in the seat of my minivan, when i did that i told them it tilted the seat on an angle, they then assumed it must be a defect with my car's seat belt. i don't know which is at fault but since purchasing a new seat with a different design i have had no further incidents. *jb |
