| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The chevy colorado extended cab model has a history of the wire breaking in the same location causing the air bag (srs) light to remain on. i believe this manufacturing defect may not activate the srs in the event of a side impact. the wire in question is located inside a rubber boot between the rear doors and the main cab body. it seems if you use the rear doors it will develop a broken wire. *jb |
