Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep wrangler. the contact stated that the vehicle was performing well up until 10,000 miles. the vehicle was getting 21-25 miles per gallon and had a lot of power. in august of 2007, he received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign id number 07v291000 (electrical system) and took his vehicle in to be repaired. since the repair was made, the vehicle has become sluggish when driving between 5 and 60 mph, the timing has slowed, the vehicle has no power and stalls when it should accelerate, and uses more fuel (14-17 mpg). he has taken the vehicle to the dealer twice; once for the recall repair and once due to the results of the repair. the dealer from where the vehicle was purchased stated that nothing was wrong and would be his responsibility. the contact would like his vehicle restored to the way it was before the recall repair. the current mileage was 12,400 and failure mileage was 10,000. updated 11/06/07. *jb
