Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The car slows suddenly while slowing down at around 40 mph and you will feel like some one holding the car from moving forward. and suddenly accelerates at around 25 mph even if you are not pushing the gas pedal. that day there was a traffic congestion on a highway and the traffic was moving around 40 mph. i was about to hit another car in front of me because of this problem, but i managed by braking the car with more force. i explained the problem to the dealer and took it to the dealer. the mechanic took a test drive and says the car is downshifting and that's why you feel that braking. and everything is normal. its me who is living with the car and it is abnormal to me. they applied some tsb (fix to the computer) but it not much helpful. *tr |
