Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Active restraint system fails to operate below 30 degrees (f). chrysler part #mb791139. the shoulder belt mechanism locks and fails to release when below the above temperature. because the component is beneath the center arm rest, it does not sufficiently warm until after an hour of vehicle use. the result is the shoulder belt cannot be used during the first hour of driving as it will not extend to its' intended position. this issue is consistent and occurs every day when the ambient temperature is below 30 degrees(f). *tr |
