Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Since purchasing the vehicle in october of 2006, the transmission seemed sluggish at stops when accelerating, i have taking the vehicle into a ford dealership three or more times and now the transmission is still sluggish when moving from a stop. i took it back to a dealer and ford service said that a memo said not to work on my transmission until the update for software is issued sometime in november. this is at least a month away and the vehicle is not safe for my wife and family to drive in. i have a ford rep who we asked to supply us with a rental car and they are saying we can rent a car and they will review it when the vehicle is fixed and decide if they are going to pay for the rental. this is ridiculous to be treated this way by such a huge corporation. *tr |
