Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Manual shift from 2nd gear to 3rd gear occasionally hits a notch going into 3rd. when you release the clutch assuming you are in 3rd, the gears grind loudly and the shift lever is thrown forcibly back to neutral, leaving you without power. the car has only 3,000 miles on it. the honda dealer and honda america say that the transmission is designed to operate this way, that this is not a defect covered under the warranty and that there is nothing to repair. *tr |
