Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have been experiencing frequent (every day) turn signal failures with my 2000 impala ls. my impala has the 3.8 liter motor and 94,000 miles. the hazard switch seems to be the reason for the failure. i have looked at several online "auto help forums" and this problem is an epidemic around the nation. gm has recalled malibu models for the same exact problem but not impalas. the switch is a $50 part but gm wants $300-$400 to replace it. it is a safety hazard that gm is aware of. please force their hand in this safety matter. thank you. *tr |
