Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2002 chrysler voyager. soon after the vehicle was purchased, the air bag light illuminated. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer three or four times regarding this failure. after regularly servicing her vehicle, she has had to replace the front and rear brakes at 20,000 and 40,000 miles. the dealer stated that the brakes needed to be replaced again at 70,000 miles. two weeks after her vehicle had been inspected and while driving 5 mph, the transmission snapped in half. the vehicle had to be pushed off the road and then towed to a mechanic. the mechanic confirmed that the front and rear brakes needed to be replaced and stated that any part that was contaminated by the transmission failure had to be replaced. the vehicle is currently with the mechanic and repairs currently total $1,400. the contact is scheduled to have arbitration with the dmv. the purchase date and powertrain were unknown. the current and failure mileages were 77,000. |
