Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This has happened on more then one occasion. the 1st couple of times the check engine light was one, it took 2 times there and they replaced the modular. after that that was taken care of but then while driving down the street all the instrument lights on the panel came on and all gauges went to zero. the second time this happened, i was driving to work going about 35 miles per hour, again all lights on instrument panel came on and the jeep stalled causing my wheels to lock and my steering to not work, i had to skid off the side of the road, thank goodness no one was behind me. i started my jeep a couple minutes later and the check engine light and all gauges were still at zero and frightened, i was able to drive home through the neighborhood. i took it to the dealership which was there a day because they knew i was furious at this time because i could have caused an accident causing injury to myself and other drivers, i then got it back and was driving home again thank goodness not on the freeway and it happened again. i took it back to the dealer who told me there is nothing that can be done because nothing is being detected on the chip so they can not fix it, they advised me to just drive it and keep a log of the pattern to help them determine the cause. i called the service manager and told him that i have a huge problem with them asking me to drive this for a pattern and causing a potentionally fatal accident to get a pattern which they already know had done this before, the service manger is having the service writer drive my jeep and has been so for almost a week now. i can't believe that this issue is not being taken serious, i could have caused a very very serious accident on the freeway and more so when it starts to snow. i do not feel safe in this vehicle, not only for myself buy other's on the road. this is something that needs to be taken care of now before someone loses there life. *tr
