Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2004 jeep liberty. while driving between 30-40 mph, the lower ball joints made a thumping sound and fell from the vehicle. the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. her husband placed the lower ball joint back on the vehicle. the contact called the dealer and was informed that there was a safety recall on the lower ball joints. she scheduled an appointment and took her vehicle in on the appointed date and time. she waited for one and a half hours and was advised to schedule another appointment for a time when she could leave the vehicle at the dealer. she was informed that it was fine for her to drive her vehicle. while driving home, she heard a splash against the tire wheel. the boot that holds the grease busted. the vehicle is currently parked in front of her home. the purchase date and recall number were unknown. the current and failure mileages were 82,000. |
