Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet silverado 1500. while driving 55 mph, the digital screen module displayed a malfunction message and the steering and brakes locked for approximately 5 seconds. the contact lost control of the vehicle. the engine was still running and the contact pulled to the side of the road. he called the dealer and was advised not to turn off the vehicle, but instead drive directly to the dealer. the weather was not a factor. after numerous visits to the dealer, they stated that the hybrid battery and engine failed. the hybrid control module was replaced and the dealer repaired the hybrid open fuse module. the current mileage was 23,500 and failure mileage was 345. |
