Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Vehicle cooling fan clutch making ticking sounds due to the "pulsing of the solenoid as described in the technical service bulletin released by general motors (#05-06-06-004), which specifies not to replace fan clutch, but reprogram the pcm. this should be a recall covered by gm, since no parts are broken and the only problem is with the manufacturer's software. consumer can only get this fixed by gm dealer. this expense should be covered under a recall by gm since it involves only the defective computer program. the are not parts to replace, just a reprogramming of the computer. *tr
