Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is in regards to my 2005 pontiac gto. i had noticed excessive tire wear on the inside of my front tires. i then felt between the tire and the strut and there is only about 1/8" or less clearance between the strut and the tire. the front struts rub on the front tires every time the vehicle rolls over any small bump. this is causing excessive tire wear and sends shocks through the steering system when driving. i went to the dealership and was told the strut towers were flipped over help with the clearance. this was total nonsense , especially when i jacked up the car the next day and no parts had been removed from the car and the clearance between the tire and the strut was the same. *tr
