Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is a complaint about the forced helmet laws in this nation. yes, anyone under 18 years of age should wear a helmet, they are minors and children. anyone over that age should have the freedom of choice, its part of being an american, its what america is all about and the reason it was founded by our forefathers. helmets are dangerous and can cause accidental deaths by the lack of hearing a car behind you coming on fast or the lack of vision as a car hits you coming down a side street, blowing out a stop sign or signal, which happens very frequently. helmets will not prevent death of riders going over35 mph and they actually have broken necks in accidents causing paralyzed or death. you need to adjust your laws, and save lives rather than cost them with the helmet law abuse. i have been riding for 40 years and have had more close calls and near misses with helmets than without. you need to talk with experienced riders rather than the general public masses who only have opinions rather than facts. thank you for your time. *tr
