Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2005 hyundai tiburon. upon purchasing the vehicle, the clutch would stick intermittently. the manufacturer explained that the failure occurred because the vehicle was new. on october 24, 2007, the clutch locked up while driving 15 mph. the contact was eventually able to free the clutch and continue driving. the clutch failed completely and the dealer stated that it was not their responsibility because the vehicle was out of warranty. the contact was informed that if he took the vehicle to a third party, it would not be recognized by the dealer. the vin and engine size were unknown. the current mileage was 24,790 and failure mileage was 24,746. updated 12/12/2007 *bf updated 12/12/07 *tr
