Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The hvac blend doors on my 2002 jeep grand cherokee (wj) overland failed at approximately 88, 000 miles causing a loss of heat and defrost abilities. due to the construction of the vehicle it will require a trained mechanic a quoted seven hours of labor to replace a plastic part which has failed. i believe this is a safety hazard, the loss of defrost ability, that jeep manufactures have been aware of and that a recall should be issued so that these jeeps, regardless of mileage may be repaired at no cost to the current jeep owner. *tr |
