| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Blend doors in 99-04 jeeps are guaranteed to need costly repair ranging from $300 (if performed personally) up to $1200 if performed by a mechanic. this is a known problem that will prohibit the heat and defogger systems from operating properly creating a huge safety concern. the blend doors are located behind the entire dash and repair takes an experienced mechanic approximately 20 hours to complete. jeep knows about this problem and has not issued a recall to correct it leaving owners with costly out of pocket repairs. *tr |
