Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Fmvss-218 is junk! don't suggest states mandate i wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle when you haven't proved conclusively it offers greater protection in a crash than not wearing a helmet. nhtsa nor the dot will list approved helmets for obvious reasons, liability! helmets are hot, heavy and restrict hearing as well as vision. as a us citizen over the age of 21 i refuse to be told that i must wear a helmet when riding. i have the right and will exercise the right to decide for myself what is safe and what is not! this i will fight in court and will suggest to all to do the same until we jam the district court system with ridiculous helmet tickets. *tr |
