| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I am writing this complaint regarding the nhtsa call for a mandatory national all rider helmet law. the nhtsa should be ashamed of their most recent "study". there was no recommendation for state sponsored or mandated rider education or awareness campaigns designed to reduce crashes (which should be the goal). the very nature of helmet designs calls for special consideration in the real world riding environment, most of us do not ride on race tracks with specialty designed suits. if helmets are the panacea that you claim then why do they produce a helmet support system to prevent hyperflexion? http://www.leatt-brace.com/gpx_product.asp *tr |
