| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The transmission went out on my 2007 tahoe ltz with 18,500 miles. i coasted to the side of the road. tahoe would not move in "d", but would in other gears. in "3" i headed to my dealer (about 15 miles away). "3" went out when i had to slow for a light. i then drove in "2" to the dealer. i was told this was the first problem like this they had seen in a 2007. after inspection, i was give technical names of the transmission parts that had torn up inside. i received the tahoe back in 1 week and was provided a free rental car by chevrolet. i have nothing but the highest praise for my dealer, but am extremely disappointed in such a major problem in a new vehicle. i am supposed to receive a full copy of all work done for this repair. *tr |
