Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We recently had a specialist inspect the 2000 eddie bauer ford expedition because of repeated electrical problems. he found a technical service bulletin for ford on the failure of windshield seals. he further advises that the repairs will be in excess of $1000. we have experienced failure of the vehicles electric system as outlined on at least 5 separate occasions. all times were preceded by moisture. the interior lights malfunctioned, the windshield wipers stopped, the blower motor was on high with ignition off, the radio shuts off, the interior dash lights remained on, etc. i have had my mechanic replace several items including the fuses and relays for the electronics. *tr |
