| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This new vehicle has shifting problems. sometimes the rpms will reverse when you stomp on the gas. it doesn't respond. this is a safety issue in that if you pull out into traffic, you may or may not get the acceleration needed to avoid impact. the transmission goes crazy. the local gmc certified repair service tech said that they have been instructed not to try to work on the system. gmc is aware of the problem, but there are no solutions. it will actually miss and loose rpm's when you accelerate in mountain terrains. it is only somewhat reliable in highway travel that is flat. someone is going to get killed soon if not addressed immediately. *jb |
