Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Hood pops up at highway speeds due to inadequate, unsafe rubber hood latches. at highway speeds the two rubber hood straps are not strong enough to hold the hood closed. on two lane roads, the air turbulence from large oncoming vehicles will cause the hood to lift approximately two inches until the safety latch engages. this causes a dangerous distraction when the hood rises and then slams down after the oncoming vehicle passes. *tr
