Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 chevrolet silverado 1500. while driving 10 mph, the brake pedal vibrated when depressed and the vehicle took longer than normal to stop. the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. the manufacturer stated that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign id number 05v379000 (service brakes, hydraulic:antilock). the current and failure mileages were 103,000. the consumer stated once he informed the dealership of the recall, the mechanics checked the abs sensor and found the wire harness to be corroded. the consumer stated the wire harness was replaced and the sensor needed to be cleaned and now the problem is fixed. updated 12/12/07 *tr
