| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 1999 chevy c/k pickup fails to stop quickly when traveling at low speeds. the abs turns on preventing the vehicle from stopping as you apply extreme pressure to the brake pedal. i am told by two separate mechanics that this is a common problem on similar models which have been recalled (nhtsa campaign # 05v379000) when contacting chevrolet they say their is nothing they can do as the recall does not include my vehicle by vin number even if it is the same part with the problem. *tr |
