| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1.) no events leading up to failure 2.) vsc off / trac off lights on dash stay on continually, and vehicle stability control is effectively disabled. researching this issue on the internet finds that this is a common issue. 3.) toyota dealer is recommending replacement of the vsc ecu (stability control/traction control computer) at a cost of $1500-$2000. based on the numbers of these reported incidents, i feel this is a defect and is an exorbitant amount to be paid by the owners of these vehicles. *tr |
