| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet monte carlo. while driving 55 mph at night, the headlights dimmed. the contact activated the dimmer switch and the lights illuminated. however, 40 miles later, the failure recurred. there were no warning lights, indicators, or noises present. the vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not inspected. the contact showed the dealer nhtsa action number pe06017 (exterior lighting, exterior lighting:headlights, exterior lighting:headlights:switch). the dealer stated that the action number was for the chevrolet impala. the vehicle has not been repaired. the current and failure mileages were 76,000. |
