Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 jeep grand cherokee. while driving 30 mph, the plastic fan blade assembly nearly separated. the failure caused the vehicle to overheat. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer to have it repaired and was informed of a recall as well as the repair price. the manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not included in the recall, even though it was experiencing the same failure as the 2000-2002 models. the vehicle is currently parked at her residence. the recall number was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 75,300.
