| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I had been noticing that when i would fill up my durango, when it got to the top, it would spill out all over my car and on the ground. at first i thought it was just a fluke but it has continued to do so. i called the dealership and all they told me was that they would just have to look at it to discover what the problem was. i then took it to my mechanic and he told me that there was a recall for this very thing and advised me to call the number listed 1-800-853-1403. i was told by the person on the on the other end that my durango was not one of them. i proceeded to tell her even though when this very recall is exactly what my car is doing and it is a 2005 model. she said no. well i am now having to have this same recall issue fixed and paid for out of my own pocket because you don't believe my mechanic. he will be submitting this on the bill as to what he had to do to fix the problem. i tried doing this the nice way but no one on the other end would listen. go figure. i will also be filing a complaint with the bbb as well. *tr |
