Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The power driver's seat on my 2006 honda ridgeline moves (rocks) while driving normally. the dealer said that the entire seat would have to be replaced at a cost of $1200 (the vehicle is off warranty with 59,000 miles). i'm concerned about the integrity and safety of the front seat support in the event of a crash in this vehicle. i have driven the truck since new, and purchased it from the corporate leasing company. i don't think that i should have to pay for a safety issue caused by a manufacturer's defect or defective design. i have checked, and various other honda vehicles have had similar complaints, and some have even had a tsb for the "rocking" seat repairs required (e.g. 2003 civic). *tr |
