Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The retaining nut for the alternator pulley came off the shaft causing the pulley to wobble which led to the loss of the serpentine belt; without the belt i lost power steering, the battery began to run low and the engine started to overheat. fortunately i was 2 miles from home and was able to make it there w/o any damage to the vehicle. the vehicle was still under warranty, ~19,000 miles on the odometer, and was repaired by the dealer. the belt and the alternator assembly were replaced. *tr |
