| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I was driving down the at around 45mph when i felt a bump in the back of my truck. i looked back and my spare tire had fallen off the underside of my truck. no other cars were around so i turned around and got the tire off the road and put it in the truck bed. i looked under the truck and the cable that held the tire in place was frayed and broken. if i had been going town a busy freeway this could have caused an accident. 1999 ford f250 superduty 4x4 built prior to 3/22/99. to repair i will have to purchase new spare tire carrier from ford. *tr |
