Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2004 chevrolet tahoe. the vehicle was taken to the repair shop for regular maintenance. the gauge was checked and the repair shop replaced the sensor because it was faulty. the contact received a letter from gm stating that the vehicle could develop a failure due to the instrument panel. the dials on the instrument panel could display an inaccurate reading. the letter further stated that if the vehicle had less than 70,000 miles, the instrument cluster would be replaced. the contact's vehicle was outside of the specified mileage. the failure mileage was 64,000 and current mileage was 72,526.
