Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased a new 2007 jeep grand cherokee 9/27/07 from tarbox jeep in n. kingstown, ri the day i took delivery the jeep had several problems the front windows did not work properly, the tail gate was not lighting up properly and i was getting a vibration through out the jeep when driving over 45 mph. i informed the sales man the next day of the defects in the jeep i brought the jeep in to be serviced and to have the repairs done on 11/6/07 the tail gate was fixed as best as they could but still defective the front power window's were also corrected how ever the vibration has not been resolved they replaced the drive shaft, they also removed the transmission and replaced the torque converter that still did not correct the problem. they know believe it needs a new downloag to the transmission control modular but that will not be ready for at least 2 weeks and they do not know if that will correct the problem and they are insisting i take back the jeep on 11/16/07 i feel the jeep might be a safety hazard to drive due to tarbox not know what the problem is i have called chrysler and i am in need of help i drive about 600 miles each week and do not feel safe driving the jeep in the correct condition. i have had a rental car for 10 days going on 11 days. i could use some help on this matter. *tr
